UAE travel update: Check Emirates, Etihad and Air Arabia flight status as Gulf routes face disruption
Passengers face cancellations and delays while Dubai airports prepare for heavier traffic
DUBAI – UAE aviation remains broadly operational, but passengers travelling today should expect some changes as airlines continue to manage cancellations, delays and altered schedules on selected routes.
Emirates, Etihad Airways, Air Arabia and flydubai are maintaining services across much of their networks, although Bahrain, Kuwait and other regional destinations continue to see disruption. Several international airlines are also maintaining longer-term suspensions affecting Dubai and other Middle East markets.
For passengers, checking the specific flight number before setting off remains essential, particularly during the busy post-summer travel period.
Emirates
Emirates continues to operate its Dubai network, although selected flights remain affected.
On the Dubai-Bahrain route:

- EK839: Scheduled
On Dubai-Kuwait:
- EK857: Scheduled
Elsewhere, EK719 from Dubai to Nairobi is delayed.
Passengers travelling with Emirates should verify their individual booking before heading to Dubai International Airport, as the status of a particular service may differ from the wider route schedule.
Etihad
Etihad's Abu Dhabi network remains largely operational across the Bahrain and Kuwait routes covered in the latest update.

Etihad is continuing to advise passengers to monitor their individual flight information because operational circumstances can change with limited notice.

Air Arabia continues to have several services affected on routes linking the UAE with Kuwait and Bahrain.

- G9124: Sharjah-Kuwait
- G9107: Sharjah-Bahrain
- 3L020: Abu Dhabi-Kuwait
Passengers booked on these flights should check their booking directly with Air Arabia before travelling to the airport.
flydubai
flydubai is also reporting disruption on selected services.
The latest update lists FZ739 from Dubai to Ashgabat as delayed, while FZ1449 from Dubai to Salzburg is also affected.
The airline advises passengers departing Dubai to arrive at least four hours before departure, complete online check-in where available and confirm their flight status before setting out.

Disruption is not limited to the major UAE carriers. Several other services at Dubai International Airport are also affected.

International suspensions
A number of international carriers continue to maintain restrictions on Middle East operations.
- Lufthansa Group: Multiple Middle East suspensions remain in place through October 24.
- British Airways: Dubai, Tel Aviv, Bahrain and Amman services remain suspended until October 25.
- Singapore Airlines: Dubai services remain suspended until October 24.
- Cathay Pacific: Dubai services remain suspended until October 25.
- Wizz Air: Dubai and Abu Dhabi services from mainland Europe remain suspended until October 24.
- Air Canada: Dubai and Tel Aviv services remain cancelled until mid-January 2027.
- KLM: Dubai, Riyadh and Dammam services remain suspended until October 24.
- Finnair: Dubai flights remain suspended until March 27, 2027.
- Air France: Dubai and Riyadh services have resumed, while Beirut flights remain suspended until September 1.
The varying restart dates underline how carriers are making independent decisions based on their own operational and security assessments.

Passengers flying from the UAE should:

- Arrive at least three hours before departure, or earlier if instructed by the airline.
